21. drill

First day of the last third of the challenge – or day 21 – and today’s mission was going to inner Copenhagen and taking a photo of “drill”.

November

In November I was sent to inner Copenhagen close to the city hall and the parliament. Looking for a drill I was hoping for some road work or construction work but nothing was in sight. I began looking around but obviously there was no actual drill lying around.

Instead I found a hole in the wall, made by a drill, and used that as subject for the photo. You can see the result below.

December

In December still in Norway, I was thinking about where to find a hole in the wall for my recreation. Our plans that day was visiting my sister-in-law and see the new apartment in Oslo, that we were going to rent when moving there in January.

Throughout the day I kept an eye open for a hole in the wall, and instead of finding a hole in the wall I found one in the ceiling. The junction box for a ceiling lamp was sticking out of the ceiling exposing the hole that it sat in. I used that for my photo, which you can see below. Unfortunately the room was pretty dark, so the camera made a long exposure, and as I was holding it in my stretched arms, I created a lot of camera shake.

Comparison

The two photos are nothing alike, as the second photo is everything but successful. It’s not even possible to see the hole, so even the simple caption doesn’t fit it. There’s not really much more to say…

Come back tomorrow and see if the next photos are more successful!
