On day 23 I was going out to Valbyparken in the south of the city to take a photo of “stool”.

For the November shot I was sent to Valbyparken, a big green area with different small parks and sports fields in the southern part of the city. With the word “stool” I was thinking about what subject to use, if not having the obvious in front of me when arriving at the location.
When I got there there was no stool, neither to sit on nor from an animal. I looked around and found the next best thing; a bench which, with a little good will, could be seen as an advanced form of a stool. I took the photo below.
December
In December I was back home in Frederiksberg. It wouldn’t be difficult to find a bench nearby for my recreation shot, but I wanted something special and I had a specific bench in mind.
Just next to my apartment in Frederiksberg there’s a small strip of pavement and grass going through the campus of Copenhagen Business School. Here are also seating areas and a very special bench which is around fifteen meters of curved double bench which can also be used as a table with seats on each sides. I took a photo of it, which you can see below.
Comparison
The biggest similarity between the photos is the subject, the bench, which is not even that similar because the two benches are very different. They don’t have the same composition and are shot from different angles, the first one shot low, and the other from eye-level.
