Day number 25 and the challenge is slowly coming to an end. Today’s word was “depart” and the location was in Inner Copenhagen.

In November I went to Inner Copenhagen close to the parliament. The exact location was in a small closed street, so I couldn’t go in there but I went to the closest point on the open road.
I was standing by a small road with very few cars trying to find a good subject for “depart”. Then I saw a small parking parking lot inside a gateway with cars waiting to depart. I framed my subject and took the photograph below.
December
In December on Christmas Day I was at my parents’ house. They live in a neighbourhood of family houses with accompanying gardens and garages. I was quickly able to find a garage with a parked car, so I took the photograph you can see below.
Comparison
The two photographs are not much alike, the composition, angle and colours are all very different, but the theme and the caption works well for both of them.
